This morning we were woken up with the sun streaming into the tent so we saw this as a great start to the day. We planned a walk up onto Kinder Scout and down Jacob's Ladder. It was a brilliant walk, scrambling up rocks, walking alongside waterfalls and looking out over amazing views!The rain held off until we were 1/2 mile from the end of the walk and the pub. Not bad for this August and we just spent the evening in the pub watching the olympics and drying off..nothing better!
