Day 289 - Contemplating

I've got a quieter couple of weeks at the moment with Serendipity so I'm taking some time out to think about the last 9 months and how business has gone. It's still quite odd to think that I was still teaching this time last year and now I'm running my own business. I have done so much and loved all the different jobs I've done but it's good to take some time out and work out where to go from here. I feel really overwhelmed with the whole business side of things but have made some appointments to meet with people who can give some advice and point me in the right direction.

Hey, I know how you feel - I have the "I was still teaching this time last year" moments too. Sometimes its shock, sometimes its pure delight! I think my favourite was sat in a safari truck in Hluhluwe game reserve in South Africa just a couple of months after leaving teaching (I left at Feb half term) knowing that whilst I was watching giraffe and hyena and looking out for lions, my literacy and numeracy classes were hard at work in that same classroom I'd left them in. Brilliant!

It sounds like your business is going really well. I love your photos - keep posting!
