Before the birthday celebrations began today I went out for an amazing walk along the Grand Union canal. It was completely frozen and so pretty. I went a bit mad with taking photos so had a few to choose from for my photo of the day. I picked this one because I loved the shadows. I took this photo at about 11am but it looks a lot later in the afternoon...winter sun.

Day 9 - January 9th - Frozen
Before the birthday celebrations began today I went out for an amazing walk along the Grand Union canal. It was completely frozen and so pretty.
